About Us
Domingo de Perros is a non-profit organizationin Oaxaca, Mexico, founded in 2015. Our goal is to improve the quality of life for dogs, cats, and families in the community. Our team includes a veterinarian, Dr. Sonia Matadamas, a group of volunteers-all women from the community - and the program leader, Nora Pareyón.
We run free sterilization campaigns almost every Sunday in underserved neighborhoods to help reduce the number of abandoned dogs and cats on the streets of Oaxaca.
We aim to engage the community with our program and inspire its members to run their own sterilization campaigns in the future
